Frequently asked questions
The questions we are asked most often. If yours is not here, please call us.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Your health insurance card. If you take regular medication, bring your medication record book. Any recent check-up results or a referral letter from another clinic will save repeating the same tests.
Will treatment start on the first visit?
Not always. The first appointment is for listening, taking X-rays and intraoral photographs, and telling you the cost and number of visits before deciding how to proceed. If you are in significant pain, we will treat the pain that day.
Are the treatment rooms private?
Yes — every room is enclosed by walls, not curtains. Nobody else can see or hear you, so you can raise anything without hesitation.
Another clinic said my case was too difficult. Can you help?
Please ask us. Our vice director trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery at a university hospital and holds a doctorate. We handle difficult wisdom tooth extractions, implants, diseases of the oral mucosa, and microscope-assisted root canal treatment.
How do I change or cancel a booking?
Up to three days before your appointment you can change or cancel it yourself using the link in your confirmation email. After that, please call us.
Can I book for the same day?
Online booking opens from a set number of hours ahead. If you need something sooner, please call — if a slot is free we will take you.
Does insurance cover this?
Fillings, root canal treatment and preventive care are covered by Japanese national health insurance. Ceramics, whitening and clear aligners are private treatment and are quoted as a total. We tell you which applies before starting.
Is there parking?
Yes. The clinic has its own car park, so you can drive straight here.
Are you open on Saturdays?
Yes — 10:00 to 13:00 and 14:30 to 18:00. We are closed on Thursdays, Sundays and public holidays.
